We offer services to children in the Essex, Passaic, Middlesex, Union, and Sussex. 

Responsibilities

• Making home visits to evaluate a child's living conditions and patterns of parent-child interaction.

• Preparing a social or emotional development assessnment of the child within the family context.

• Identifying, mobilizing, and coordinating community resource and services to enable child and family to receive maximum benefit from Early Intervention Services.

• Assisting the family of a child understanding the special needs of the child and enchancing the child's development.

• Maintain accurate records and report on the childs’ status

• Attend Meetings and Conferences

Requirements and skills

• Proven work experience as a Social Worker

• Working knowledge of social theories and practices

• Social perceptiveness and empathy

• Active License or Certification (LSW)

• Ability to relate and communicate with diverse population and groups

• Resilience along with ability to assess situations

• Reliable form of transportation

• BS degree in social work (BSW), psychology or sociology

• Updated and Active Liability Insurance
