Social Worker

• Deliver social work interventions, assessments, and resource coordination for hospital patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Support patients and families through emotional, social, and discharge planning needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation consistent with hospital standards and protocols.

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care hospital experience.
• Valid LCSW certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to empathize and communicate effectively.
• Ability to assess complex social and emotional needs of patients.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working with diverse patient populations.
• Knowledge of community resources and healthcare systems.
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification.
• At least 2 years of hospital-based social work experience in a related specialty.

Other Requirements:

• Must have BLS certification.
• Travel reimbursements and licensure/certification support available as applicable.
• Willingness to work a varied schedule, typically from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM, with shifts lasting 13 weeks.
