We are seeking passionate professionals committed to excellence in acute hospital settings to join our team starting August 19, 2024.Key Responsibilities:

• Provide social work services to patients in an acute hospital environment.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Assist patients and families in navigating healthcare systems, discharge planning, and accessing community resources.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all interventions and interactions.

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare or hospital setting.
• Current Georgia Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification.
• Strong knowledge of hospital protocols, patient advocacy, and crisis intervention.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations with a diverse patient population.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working with diverse patient populations.
• Bilingual abilities to serve non-English speaking patients.
• Knowledge of mental health and substance abuse issues.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• At least two years of acute hospital social work experience.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work an 8-week schedule, 8 p.m. to 8 a.m., with potential for flexibility.
• Willingness to travel for additional certifications or training as needed.
• Reliable transportation and eligibility to work in the U.S.
