Job Description

Job Title: Skilled Hospital-Based Social Worker (LCSW Required)Overview: Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Hospital-Based Social Worker and make a meaningful impact on patients' lives during critical times. Minimum of 2 years of hospital-based social work experience within a specialty setting
Valid LCSW license in the state of Georgia
Current BLS certification
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to assess complex psychosocial issues and develop appropriate interventions
Proficiency in documentation and electronic health records
Compassionate, empathetic, and culturally sensitive approach

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience working within behavioral health or mental health specialties
Bilingual abilities
Knowledge of hospital workflows and interdisciplinary team collaboration
Additional certifications in mental health or social services

Preferred Education and Experience:

Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
At least 2 years of hospital-based or health system social work experience in a relevant specialty

Other Requirements:

Must be available to work schedule from 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm, Monday through Friday
Able to work for a 13-week assignment with the possibility of extension
Willingness to travel for licensure or certification renewals if necessary
Reliable transportation and ability to meet all institutional compliance standards
