Beloit Health System is looking to add a Social Worker II to our Counseling Care Team!Shift: FirstSchedule: 8a - 6p (8-hour shifts within this timeframe)Hours per week: 40Benefits Status: EligibleDepartment: Counseling CareThe Social Worker II is responsible for providing comprehensive mental health Treatment to clients and families in cooperation with physicians, nursing and other professional interdisciplinary staff and community agencies, to restore, maintain and enhance mental and emotional functioning in the social environment.Performs comprehensive mental health treatment to patients and families
Utilizes DSM-V standards for diagnosing
Completes psychosocial evaluations on all identified clients
Completes treatment plans and treatment plan reviews, focusing on the improvement of mental health symptoms and emotional/personal functioning
Provides competent and comprehensive treatment approaches to mental health diagnosis and emotional struggles
Implements preventative strategies to mental and emotion disorders
Takes a lead role in managing client's mental healthcare needs through case management and advocacy
Provide treatment to diverse populations and ages, including individuals, families and groups
Builds referral relationships within the Hospital setting and the treatment community, for referral and care networks
Effectively manages crisis patient needs, facilitating care within the multidisciplinary team, in an empathetic and knowledgeable manner
Participates in an on-call rotation (1-2 weeks per year)Job RequirementsMaster's degree in Social Work, Counseling and Guidance or related degree from an accredited university
Ideally Licensed as LPC, LCSW or LMFT in Wisconsin (Minimal License is LPC-IT or MSW-IT)Ideal candidate will have 3000 hours post-graduate experience
Excellent verbal and written skills
Must have the ability to work independently with minimal instruction and effectively within a team setting
