Job Title: Software Design Engineer in Test 3 Location: Redmond , WA Salary Range: $70/hr to $75/hr on W2
Introduction
Join a dynamic team focused on supporting Windows Storage and File Systems. Your role will involve maintaining and improving testing infrastructure for storage components.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Applicants must be able to work directly on W2.
- Proficiency in C, C++, and C# with a minimum of three years of experience.
- Experience in software testing and writing test documentation such as Test Plans, scripts, and test results reports.
- Ability to analyze and interpret test results and provide recommendations to improve testing.
- Experience with PowerShell and domain knowledge in storage systems.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with PowerShell and domain knowledge in storage systems.
- Strong debugging skills and familiarity with data structures.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and document all testing activities, including test planning and execution.
- Test system modifications to prepare for implementation and document software defects using a bug tracking system.
- Identify and analyze problems with program function, output, or content, and monitor bug resolution efforts.
