About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced Software Developer 2 to support the design, development, testing, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of complex enterprise applications.
This position will work closely with software developers, UX professionals, business analysts, and systems analysts to develop and maintain business-critical applications.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive software development experience with a strong technical background in Angular, C#, ASP.NET, and Oracle Database technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Research, design, develop, implement, and maintain complex software applications and programs.
Design, code, and modify complex computer programs, subroutines, triggers, stored procedures, objects, classes, and scripts.
Develop applications and system components using Angular, C#, ASP.NET, and Oracle Database.
Analyze complex business processes and translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
Test and evaluate new and existing applications and software functionality.
Generate test data and develop test scripts and execution sequences.
Review test results, identify defects, debug errors, and implement appropriate corrections.
Troubleshoot application issues involving functionality, performance, production support, and enhancements.
Apply established software development methodologies, programming standards, documentation standards, and testing practices.
Ensure applications are designed for quality, reliability, security, and maintainability.
Participate in peer code reviews to ensure compliance with development standards and business and system requirements.
Develop program specifications and design appropriate application and systems logic.
Collaborate with developers, UX professionals, business analysts, systems analysts, and other technical stakeholders.
Participate in Agile or Scrum-based software development activities.
Support application enhancements, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have 7+ years of experience in the following areas:
Computer programming, systems analysis, and development of complex business processes and system solutions.
Coding, testing, and debugging applications in development and production environments.
Troubleshooting software issues related to performance, production support, issue resolution, and application enhancements.
Processing complex information logically and designing effective program and systems logic.
Developing technical and program specifications.
Working effectively within complex enterprise technology environments.
Applying strong written and verbal communication skills in a technical environment.
Collaborating effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and other functional groups.
Understanding current Information Technology trends, technologies, practices, and industry direction.
Applying architectural concepts and principles related to applications, infrastructure, information, and enterprise technology environments.
Evaluating and working with emerging technologies.
Applying tools, techniques, standards, and best practices designed to protect data integrity and associated processing environments.
Working within established technology standards, practices, and procedures.
Delivering software solutions using Agile or Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience working with information architecture and information management methodologies within a large enterprise or government environment.
2+ years of experience working with established enterprise software architectures, infrastructure components, and technology roadmaps.
Previous experience supporting complex public-sector or large-scale enterprise applications is a plus.

The successful candidate will be a seasoned application developer who can work across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and technical design through coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and ongoing support.
Candidates should have particularly strong hands-on development experience with Angular, C#, ASP.NET, and Oracle, along with the ability to operate effectively within a structured Agile enterprise environment.
