About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced Software Developer 2 to support the design, development, testing, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of complex enterprise applications.
This position will work closely with software developers, UX professionals, business analysts, and systems analysts to develop and maintain business-critical software solutions.
The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on development experience with Angular, C#, ASP.NET, and Oracle Database, along with extensive experience coding, testing, debugging, and supporting complex enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
Research, design, develop, implement, and maintain complex software applications and programs.
Design, code, and modify complex computer programs, subroutines, triggers, stored procedures, objects, classes, and scripts.
Develop applications and system components using Angular, C#, ASP.NET, and Oracle Database.
Analyze complex business processes and translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
Develop program specifications and design application and systems logic.
Test and evaluate new and existing software applications.
Generate test data and develop test scripts and execution sequences.
Analyze test results, identify defects, debug errors, and implement appropriate corrections.
Troubleshoot application issues involving functionality, performance, production support, and enhancements.
Apply established software development methodologies, programming standards, documentation standards, and testing practices.
Ensure applications are designed and developed for quality, security, reliability, and maintainability.
Participate in peer code reviews to ensure compliance with development standards and business and system requirements.
Collaborate with developers, UX professionals, business analysts, systems analysts, and other technical stakeholders.
Participate in Agile or Scrum software development activities.
Support application enhancements, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Evaluate emerging technologies and their potential application within the enterprise technology environment.
Follow established practices and standards designed to protect data integrity and associated processing environments.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have 7+ years of relevant software development experience, including:
Computer programming, systems analysis, and development of complex business processes and system solutions.
Coding, testing, and debugging applications in development and production environments.
Supporting applications requiring issue resolution, performance improvements, or functional enhancements.
Designing effective program and systems logic.
Developing technical and program specifications.
Applying software development standards and methodologies.
Working with enterprise application and infrastructure architecture concepts.
Understanding current Information Technology trends, technologies, and industry direction.
Evaluating and working with emerging technologies.
Applying tools, techniques, standards, and best practices designed to protect data integrity.
Delivering software solutions using Agile or Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience with enterprise information architecture and information management methodologies.
2+ years of experience working with established and evolving enterprise software technologies, application architecture, and infrastructure components.
Previous experience supporting complex government, public-sector, or large enterprise applications is a plus.
