DTI has an immediate need for a Software Developer for a 10+ Months remote contractMust work on our W2Location: Remote Description: The services You will provide the client project team: As a Software Developer Contractor, you will be responsible for developing, creating, and modifying software applications to meet business requirements and enhance system performance. Developing and customizing software applications based on user needs and business requirements. Analyzing and designing databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team. Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to software applications and integrations. Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical expertise in software development. Ensuring the quality and performance of applications through testing and maintenance. Primary Skill Required for the Role: Rules Engine Level Required for Primary Skill: Advanced (6-9 years experience)Key Responsibilities: Senior Decision Systems Engineer to design and implement rules-based and eligibility decision logic for the Decision Engine, ensuring decisions are deterministic, explainable, and compliant. This role focuses on building and maintaining decision logic using rules engines or decision tables (e.g., Drools or equivalent), integrating rules with backend decision services built in Node.js and/or Python, and combining deterministic rules with ML-driven signals to produce final Next Best Action outcomes.
