Job Description
- Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable backend services and APIs.
- Implement server-side logic for business applications, ensuring performance, reliability, and security.
- Create and optimize database schemas and queries for SQL and NoSQL systems.
- Ensure adherence to secure coding practices and enterprise governance standards.
- Develop and maintain integrations with enterprise systems such as Salesforce and other SaaS platforms. (e.g., REST APIs, middleware connectors)
- Participate in CRM backend logic, data synchronization tasks, and service orchestration where applicable.
- Write and execute unit tests, automated tests, and component tests.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software defects and performance bottlenecks.
- Support ongoing CI/CD workflows and deployments. Familiarity with pipelines and tools is a plus.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback through pull request workflows.
- Contribute to sprint ceremonies including backlog refinement, planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, product owners, and customer stakeholders.
- Maintain high standards for code quality, test coverage, and documentation.
- Support continuous integration and deployment processes to ensure reliable release cycles.
- Participate in technical discovery sessions and solution design discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support customer-facing troubleshooting efforts when deep technical expertise is required.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Present technical updates during sprint reviews or stakeholder meetings.
- Strong proficiency in one or more backend programming languages, especially C#/.NET and/or C++.
- Solid understanding of server-side logic, RESTful API design, authentication/authorization, and service integration.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and familiarity with NoSQL paradigms.
- Comfortable with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Proficiency using modern IDEs such as JetBrains tools (Rider, IntelliJ IDEA, CLion) or Visual Studio for efficient debugging, refactoring, and code analysis.
- Experience with structured source control workflows (Git branching strategies, pull requests, peer reviews).
- Familiarity with CI/CD platforms such as TeamCity, Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or similar systems.
- Experience using Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, PR workflows) or comparable tools for sprint planning, backlog management, and code review collaboration.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deployment models.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tooling and automation (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Understanding of performance profiling, caching strategies, and system optimization.
- Prior experience integrating with enterprise platforms (e.g., Salesforce APIs, middleware).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Exposure to observability tooling (logging, metrics, tracing).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Clear communicator with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a part-time structure while reliably delivering quality outcomes.
- Adaptive learner who stays current with evolving technologies.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Comfortable balancing hands-on development with collaboration and process participation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field or equivalent professional experience.
