Software Developer Intern

Pay Range:

$17.60 - $24.20

Pay Rate: $18 per hour

All internship positions are designed to give college students an opportunity to apply techniques learned in an academic setting while obtaining new skills. This is a paid internship offering full-time hours during the summer months. All interns are required to conclude the program by giving a formal presentation on their work. Please note that no relocation assistance or sponsorship is provided for the internship program at this time.

Position Summary:

Use your strong software engineering skills to expand the capability of our instrument and enterprise systems. You will collaborate with other software engineers and scientists in the development of analytical applications, enterprise business applications, working on design of graphical data presentations, algorithms, device communications, and complex data workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle: planning, design, coding, testing, and deployment using Agile methodologies.

• Design and implement efficient, reliable, testable, and maintainable code.

• Collaborate cross-functionally within organization to deliver high-impact solutions.

Program Requirements:

• Must currently be a student enrolled at an accredited institution pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field (e.g., Physics, Mathematics, Biomedical Engineering)

• Must at a minimum have completed sophomore year of college

• Must be able to work full-time during the duration of the internship program

Experience Qualifications:

• Familiarity with C#, Java, Javascript, HTML, and CSS

• Good understanding of database management systems

• Familiarity with software development concepts

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
