Overview

Are you ready to launch your career by building software that makes a real-world impact? As a developer on our team, you will build software leveraging Esri’s products and APIs for customers across a wide swathe of sectors.

This is a unique opportunity to grow your technical skills while contributing to projects that matter. You’ll work alongside engineers and mentors in a collaborative, cross-functional environment that values learning, innovation and purpose. From building intuitive AI web interfaces to writing Python for geoprocessing tools and AI agents, you’ll be exposed to the full development lifecycle and cutting-edge GIS solutions.

Responsibilities

Support web services components that follow industry-standard design patterns, development methodologies, and deployment models
Build server-side Java components and web services to power user experience and geospatial workflows
Prototype, design, develop, and deliver complete software features and products that can scale, are fault tolerant, and handle concurrent workloads
Design, architect, and build complete software features/products and underlying geospatial databases to meet customer requirements
Find, analyze, and fix bugs/performance problems whenever and wherever they occur
Work collaboratively with other teams to understand requirements and incorporate them into the software

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, GIS, or a related field
One (1) year of experience in the job offered, or one (1) year of experience in a related occupation
Demonstrated experience in Software Architecture, UI Prototypes, WPF, C#, C++, REST APIs, and ArcGIS
