Position Title: Software Engineer 0

Reports To: Program Manager / Team Lead
Job Type: Full-time
Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Summary:
Ready to take your strong foundation of skills to the next level? LufCo is looking for a Software Engineer Level 0 to join a solid team on a well-established contract. Open to engineers who are 0-6 years of experience with a current TS/SCI with Poly clearance in the Ft. Meade market.
This opening is an opportunity to join others as a LufCo ambassador with one of our industry partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements in order to design software solutions.
- Debug software not only to identify issues but also to correct them.
- Provide recommendations for improvements to code and documentation.
- Code solutions for new and existing products.
- Support software integration efforts.
- Create data queries as needed to support data repository efforts.
Qualifications
Education:
- B.S. degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- 4 additional years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
Experience:
- 0-6 years of software engineering experience.
Skills:
- Comfort and familiarity with backend and frontend development.
- Understanding of agile methodology.
- Desire to advance skills.
- Strong interpersonal communication.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to travel as required.
- Standard office environment with occasional requirements to visit client sites, labs, or field environments.
