The Role
We're looking for aSoftware Engineerto help bring our product ideas to life within a fast-moving game cell focused ongamifying fitness and developing healthy habits for the whole family. You'll work closely with designers and engineers to prototype, iterate, and refine our product from concept to production.
This role is for someone who thrives in arapid development environment, learns quickly, and brings in the right tools and technologies to build high-quality experiences. You should be excited about the challenge ofmaking exercise engagingthrough game systems likeprogression, rewards, and live-opswhile integrating with amotion-based platform.
You’ll beproduct and user minded, confident insharing your perspectiveto shape the best possible experience for our growing community. If you love buildingpolished, interactive experiences from the ground up, this role is for you.
What You'll Do
- Ramp up quicklyon existing codebases and implement scalable content delivery to keep the catalog fresh.
- Develop progression systems, live-ops features, and other gameplay elementsthat enhance motivation and engagement.
- Optimize and polishuser experiences to ensure smooth, production-quality gameplay.
- Evaluate and adopt new technologiesto improve development speed and product quality.
- Work cross-functionallywith designers, product teams, and other engineers to deliver a seamless experience.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of game development or interactive software engineering experience.
- Experience buildinguser-facing products from scratchand shipping high-quality experiences.
- Strong programming skills, preferably withUnity (C#) or similar game engines.
- Ability toquickly learn and integrate new technologiesinto development pipelines.
- Experienceoptimising performanceandartifact sizefor mobile (Android) platforms.
- Aproduct-minded approach—you think about the user experience, not just the code.
- Strongproblem-solving skillsand ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Bonus: Experience withfitness apps, or at-home fitness solutions.Experience delivering remote content updates using Unity Asset bundles.
