Job Description

Nordson Test & Inspection, a global leader in X-Ray & Test Systems and Optical Sensors and Metrology, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team. Job Summary

Nordson Test and Inspection develops 2D/3D automated inspect sensors and Wafersense in situ semiconductor measurement systems. The successful candidate for this role will work on a variety of Wafersense products, including communication to the actual device, calibration and certification processes, and user facing UI. A Software Developer generally works at the direction of a Senior Software Engineer or Software Architect.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Write unit tests and stress tests for validation of software performance
  • Assist in testing software releases for other members of the team
  • Assists in collecting and processing data for our algorithm team
  • Participate in software process improvement team
  • Provides recommendations for user interface improvements

Education and Experience Requirements

BS Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (or similar)

  • Experience in C# or Java programming.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio and Azure source control tools.

Preferred Skills and Abilities

  • Experience with large code bases
  • Experience working with a team.
  • Experience with user interface design with Winforms and WPF
  • Experience with wireless devices and working with firmware engineers.
  • Experience with motion controllers, and other hardware integration.
  • Experience developing new products as part of a cross functional team throughout the product life cycle.

Compensation

Base Salary Range for this position is: $95,000 to $135,000 annually/per hour, and bonus target is _%; shift premium may be available depending on shift associated with the specific job opportunity. Benefits include Medical, Rx, Vision, Dental, and Health Savings Account (HSA), Retirement and Security benefits including 401k and Life Insurance. In addition to Paid Time Off and paid Holidays, each employee receives 16 hours paid time each calendar year to perform volunteer services for Nordson-sponsored events. The base pay range for this job level is a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, business considerations, and local market conditions, as well as candidate qualifications, such as education, experience, and skills
