Your Responsibilities:

  • Participate in refactoring and modernization efforts to improve system stability, maintainability, and performance
  • Collaborate with senior developers on solution design, technical approach, and implementation planning
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects with attention to performance and data integrity
  • Investigate and resolve production issues, defects, and performance concerns in a timely manner
  • Contribute to integrations using RESTful APIs and service-based architectures
  • Ensure appropriate error handling, logging, and validation are implemented in application code
  • Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality and consistency
  • Work closely with QA, Business Analysts, and Operations to clarify requirements and support testing and deployment activities
  • Support release preparation, deployment validation, and post-release troubleshooting
  • Maintain accurate task updates, documentation, and status communication
  • Continuously build technical knowledge and contribute ideas for improving systems, tools, and processes
  • Collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team environment and contribute to shared delivery goals

You Must Have:

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience in a production or enterprise environment
  • Strong working knowledge of C# and .NET development
  • Practical experience supporting or enhancing VB.NET applications
  • Solid SQL development skills, including queries, stored procedures, and basic performance considerations
  • Experience with Git-based source control and tools such as Azure DevOps or TFS
  • Ability to troubleshoot defects, analyze issues, and implement effective solutions with limited supervision
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and grow technically
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

We Would Also Prefer:

  • Experience working with RESTful APIs or service integrations
  • Exposure to Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, or deployment processes
  • Experience supporting production-critical enterprise applications
  • Exposure to Agile or hybrid development methodologies
  • Understanding of secure coding practices
  • Interest in mentoring junior developers as skills progress toward senior level
