The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Software Engineer (Front-End / Full-Stack) to join our small but mighty engineering team. This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role where you’ll take features from concept to production and help shape the future of our patient- and provider-facing platforms.
You’ll be strongest on the frontend today, with the opportunity (and support) to grow deeper into full-stack development over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain responsive web applications using TypeScript, React, and Next.js
- Develop and deploy cross-platform mobile experiences using Capacitor
- Own features end-to-end, from technical design through implementation and deployment
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and clinical teams to translate requirements into intuitive, accessible user experiences
- Write clean, tested, and well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
- Work with Rust-based backend services and APIs as you expand your full-stack skillset
- Help improve developer experience, tooling, and processes as we scale
Qualifications
Required
- 2–4 years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency with TypeScript and React
- Experience with Next.js or similar React frameworks
- Solid understanding of modern frontend practices (state management, component architecture, responsive design)
- Ability to work independently and drive features to completion
- Clear communicator who thrives on a small, collaborative team
Nice to Have
- Experience with mobile development (Capacitor, React Native, or native iOS/Android)
- Familiarity with backend development (Rust, Python, Node.js, or similar)
- Interest in or experience with healthcare or population health technology
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design
