This job is with Encode, Inc a fully owned subsidiary of Lancesoft Job Description: Seeking highly qualified software engineers to develop leading edge solutions to directly support the warfighter. Software is experiencing unprecedented growth across all of its supported platforms due to the award of multiple new contracts. The Bombers organization supports the B-52 Heavy Bomber. This platform continues to be updated to keep it relevant and supportive of emerging military systems. Upgrades include state-of-the-art radar systems, hypersonic weapons systems, and cutting edge digital communication infrastructure. Candidates selected for these positions will work in an agile, collaborative environment working with some of the latest software development tools to support development and integration tasks. Troubleshooting normally involves a high fidelity lab environment working with A/C hardware. Position Responsibilities:•Design, develop and test software components and functions•Support development of software functional requirements•Support software architecture trades and revise existing architecture to meet new functions•Specify internal and external software interfaces•Conduct software test driven development•Conduct and support peer reviews on all software life cycle data•Contribute to the success of an Agile development team•Support sprint planning and meet sprint commitments This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. Ability to obtain Secret US Security clearance (Post-Start). Required Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):•Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.•Experience with embedded (real-time) software development.•Proficient in Ada.
