Spectacles is looking for interns to work on the CoreOS team to help us develop cutting edge AR experiences for future Spectacles. CoreOS team’s mission is to develop Intelligent OS features for Spectacles such as AI on Edge, graphics, power, Camera, Audio, Video, Security, Interprocess communications and many complex details.

Spectacles is home to our hardware productswith a world-class research & development team. We are focused on pushing the boundaries of what a camera can be, specifically overlaying computing on the real world. Next Generation Spectacles are our first pair of glasses that bring augmented reality to life.

We are looking for Software Engineering Interns to join us for a 13-week Summer 2026 Internship Program at Snap Inc! 

What you'll do:

  • Work on challenging technical projects that align with business and product needs 

  • Develop highly performant code to impact Snap Labs products and technology

  • Partner closely with mentor and teammates on internship project

  • Learn and apply new software engineering skills

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Strong computer science fundamentals

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Ability to collaborate with other engineers and cross-functional partners

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a BS/MS program in a technical field such as computer science with a graduation date no sooner than December 2026

  • Graduating between December 2026 to Spring 2027

  • Must be able to start in office in May or June of 2026 for a 13-week internship

Preferred Qualifications for CoreOS:

  • Background in Data Structures and programming languages like C++ or Java or C or Kotlin

  • Positive attitude and willing to learn and contribute in the area of Augmented reality device security
