Opportunity Overview

  • Teradyne is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Product Security Intern/Associate to support product security initiatives across engineering teams. In this role, you will help strengthen secure development practices across the product lifecycle by assisting with security assessments, issue tracking, documentation, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Work closely with engineering, quality, and programming teams to identify product security requirements and support follow-up on security-related actions.
  • Assist with identifying, documenting, tracking, and helping drive closure of product security issues, vulnerabilities, and risk mitigation activities.
  • Support secure design reviews, technical investigations, and threat analysis activities for products, tools, and development workflows.
  • Help maintain organized records of findings, action items, and support documentation for internal stakeholders and review activities.
  • Contribute to process improvements, training materials, and reporting that improve product security awareness and execution across teams.
  • Create spreadsheets, presentations, and summary reports for engineering and management audiences.
  • Execute product security tasks efficiently and professionally, with strong attention to detail.
  • Collaborate across hardware, software, test, and research-oriented teams to support secure engineering practices and continuous improvement.

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering, in the field of computers, mechanical, robotics, cybersecurity, or a related technical field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Experience working on technical projects in engineering, robotics, research, fabrication, or related environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience organizing technical information, trackers, or project documentation
  • Ability to work as part of a team with a results-driven approach
  • Interest in product security, secure development, technical risk management, or cybersecurity

We are only considering candidates local to position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position.

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Compensation:

The base hourly range for this role is $25.50-$47.00. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
