Immediate need for a talented Software Engineering - Firmware Software Engineer V. This is a 06+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in US (Remote). Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location). Key Responsibilities:

Participate in the Live creation on-call rotation, including triage, investigation, mitigation, and root cause analysis of production issues.
Debug and resolve issues spanning web frontend and backend services in the Live creation stack.
Ship bug fixes, reliability improvements, and small to medium feature work.
Improve on-call health by reducing noisy alerts, updating runbooks, and adding monitoring, logging, and dashboards.
Write and maintain tests covering critical Live creation flows.
Document findings and fixes so knowledge stays with the team.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong web development experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and React.
Strong backend development experience building and debugging server-side services and APIs.
Demonstrated ability to work independently: can take an ambiguous production issue, drive it to resolution, and know when to escalate.
Experience with production support or on-call in a high-traffic consumer product.
Comfortable navigating and making safe changes in a large existing codebase with minimal onboarding support.
Strong written communication, since much of the work is asynchronous and documented.
Experience with live video, streaming, or real-time media systems.
Experience with GraphQL.
Background in reliability, observability, or SEV response.
Experience working with distributed or globally located teams.
