About Dynatron

Dynatron is transforming the automotive service industry with intelligent SaaS solutions that drive measurable results for thousands of dealership service departments. Our analytics, automation, and AI-powered workflows help service leaders increase profitability, improve customer satisfaction, and operate with greater efficiency. We are a people-first organization built on accountability, collaboration, integrity, and continuous improvement.

The Opportunity

We’re seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead, grow, and mature one or more product-focused engineering teams. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building high-performing teams, delivering scalable SaaS solutions, and ensuring engineering excellence across execution, quality, and reliability.

This is a leadership role for a manager who brings strong technical credibility, a modern product mindset, and a deep commitment to people development. You’ll partner closely with Architects, Product, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver meaningful outcomes on time and at scale, while continuously raising the bar for how engineering teams operate.

What You’ll Do

Team Leadership & People Development

  • Lead, mentor, and coach software engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and support individual growth and career development.
  • Build and scale high-quality teams through thoughtful hiring and onboarding.

Delivery Ownership & Execution

  • Own team-level delivery commitments, including estimation, planning, and on-time execution.
  • Partner with Product and Architecture to ensure work is scoped appropriately and delivered incrementally.
  • Balance speed and quality to deliver reliable, customer-facing solutions.

Technical Leadership & Quality

  • Provide technical guidance and oversight across application development, ensuring adherence to coding, testing, and documentation standards.
  • Participate in design reviews and architectural discussions across team and cross-team initiatives.
  • Maintain strong awareness of system architecture, dependencies, and technical health.

Agile, DevOps & Operational Excellence

  • Lead teams in modern Agile and DevOps practices, including incremental delivery, CI/CD, and test-driven development.
  • Monitor delivery metrics, system reliability, and operational health; intervene early when risks emerge.
  • Participate in on-call escalation and incident management, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and effectively.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Collaborate closely with Product, Architecture, and other Engineering leaders to align priorities and deliver cross-team initiatives.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders and senior leadership, translating technical progress and risk into business context.

What You Bring

Engineering & Leadership Experience

  • 6+ years of senior-level software engineering experience building SaaS or SaaS-like products.
  • 4+ years of experience managing, coaching, and developing engineers.
  • Proven ability to lead teams delivering scalable, production-grade systems.

Technical Background

  • Strong experience with .NET / C#, including .NET Core, and modern frontend frameworks such as Angular.
  • Experience with MySQL and relational database design.
  • Solid understanding of APIs and integrations using HTTP, REST, JSON, and XML.
  • Exposure to AI/ML or LLM-based systems, and interest in agentic or intelligent application patterns.
  • Experience working in cloud and hybrid environments, including containerization, security, and serverless architectures.
  • Familiarity with Git-based workflows and modern CI/CD pipelines.

Leadership & Professional Skills

  • Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Strong prioritization and decision-making skills in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust, influence across teams, and lead through change.
  • Growth mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Education & Domain Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in the automotive industry is a plus, but not required.

Why Dynatron

  • Opportunity to lead and shape high-impact product engineering teams.
  • Influence over engineering culture, delivery practices, and technical direction.
  • Values-driven environment focused on accountability, quality, and outcomes.
  • Remote-first culture offering flexibility and autonomy.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience

Benefits Include:

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Equity participation
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Flexible vacation policy and 11 paid holidays
