Job Description
An iMPact Business Group client in the Material Handling industry is seeking an experienced Software QA Automation Engineer for Material Handling systems. This role also has a blend of Software QA and some Software Engineering duties.
Please Note: This is a contract-to-hire role and only Candidates who can be hired with no Visa sponsorship requirements will be considered
This role will participate in supporting Software QA processes for new and existing Material Handling solutions working from the Corporate HQ in New Jersey and may also involve some travel to Customer locations nationwide.
This role is for someone with strong team collaboration skills, a focus on providing top notch customer service, and a passion for implementing, troubleshooting, and enhancing material handling solutions that involve modern software development technologies integrated with a variety of robotic, conveyor, and other material handling hardware.
This role will focus on both Software QA functions along with some traditional Software Engineering for Material Handling systems. The primary focus is Software QA - helping expand what is already done for Software QA using primarily Python and Cursor, including defining Test requirements, creating Test Scripts, running the Test Scripts, manual and automated testing, Defect management, and helping to further implement and execute formal Software QA processes / practices.

* You love seeing the results of your work on-site at a Customer location, you view travel as an opportunity not a burden.
