We're seeking a motivated and technically skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to collaborate with our engineering teams in planning, designing, and executing robust QA strategies for software and IoT connectivity. This role ensures adherence to quality standards across all in-house and cloud-configured products.

This position will be responsible for establishing and enforcing standards that ensure high quality is delivered within area of assigned responsibilities.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and execute comprehensive manual and automated test cases to ensure product reliability.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks for maximum test coverage and efficiency.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using issue-tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with developers to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Develop performance, security, and other specialized testing.
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to clarify requirements and improve product testability.
  • Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Mentor teammates on testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Provide clear reporting on project status, testing progress, and areas of improvement.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years of experience in software testing, QA engineering, or software development.
  • Proficiency with webdriver tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
  • Proficiency with API testing tools (Postman, Fiddler).
  • Strong scripting and programming skills.
  • Experience with SQL and database schema design.
  • Proficiency with issue tracking and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, Git).
  • Ability to analyze requirements and create testable specifications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with TypeScript, Python, or other object-oriented languages.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
  • Experience mentoring or training team members on testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • Familiarity with Performance testing tools (k6, Locust).
  • Familiarity with Security testing tools (OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite).
