Job Title: Solder AssemblerLocation: Mankato, MNCompensation: $18.00 per hour – paid weeklySchedule: 1st shift | Daytime hoursJob Type: Temp-to-Hire | Full-timeAbout the OpportunityDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Solder Assembler workers for an electronics / complex assembly company in Mankato, MN. In this role, you’ll support the production of high-quality electronic assemblies by performing detailed hand soldering and inspection work under a microscope. • Perform hand soldering and assembly of electronic components under a microscope
• Hold boards and panels under a microscope to inspect parts and solder joints
• Use pliers, cutters, and other small hand tools during board assembly
• Complete required production and quality documentation
• Enter basic production data into a computer system
• Perform additional duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager

What You Need to Bring to the Solder Assembler Role:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• General knowledge of electronic components
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructions
• Basic computer skills for data entry
• Willingness to cross-train into other positions as needed
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to read, write, communicate, and understand English
• Prior soldering experience preferred but not required
• IPC?A?610 training preferred but not required
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
• Entry-level candidates welcome
