About the job
We are seeking a Solution Architect II Digital Technology to support digital transformation initiatives and drive innovative technology solutions. This role will work at the intersection of business and technology, leading digital initiatives, shaping architecture strategies, and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.
About the Role
The ideal candidate is a hands-on architect with strong cloud expertise, a deep understanding of modern application architecture, and experience delivering consumer-facing digital products.
Interview Process:
Initial Screening (Resume review; 24 48-hour feedback)
Technical Interview (30 minutes virtual)
Onsite Panel Interview (60 90 minutes)
- Includes presentation of a solution to a provided use case
Responsibilities
- Lead digital initiatives by aligning business goals with technology solutions
- Translate digital transformation roadmaps into actionable architecture and solution plans
- Design and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing application architectures
- Partner with business stakeholders, project managers, and technology teams to define requirements and deliver solutions
- Develop architecture artifacts, including:
Solution designs
- Infrastructure diagrams
- Technical documentation
Drive modernization efforts including:
- Cloud adoption
- Process transformation
- Hyper-automation initiatives
Provide technical leadership across multiple projects and domains
- Ensure solutions comply with security, regulatory, and enterprise architecture standards
- Identify infrastructure and security dependencies and coordinate appropriate support teams
- Participate in vendor selection, RFP/SOW development, and technical evaluations
- Present architecture strategies and solutions to leadership and executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- 2 4+ years of experience in Solution Architecture or related roles (4+ years preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong experience designing modern application architectures (frontend & backend)
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms:
- Azure (preferred)
- AWS or GCP
- Experience with cloud-native and on-premises infrastructure
- Experience delivering digital capabilities for consumer-facing applications
- Strong understanding of system scalability, reliability, and fault tolerance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Required Skills
- Experience with large-scale digital transformation initiatives
- Content management, personalization, and analytics platforms
- Mobile technologies and Salesforce
- AI/ML and edge computing
- Experience in regulated industries and compliance environments
- Familiarity with modern architectural patterns (microservices, event-driven architecture, APIs)
Preferred Skills
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and act as a technical SME
- Experience developing and executing technology roadmaps and strategies
- Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to design systems that scale efficiently and handle failures gracefully
- Comfortable presenting technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
