Solutions Management Lead

Job Description

The Solutions Management Lead will be responsible for a team of Solutions Engineers focused on hardware and integrated solutions within the Axis portfolio. This person in this job will play a critical role in driving the strategic development and successful market adoption of our hardware product portfolio. You will lead and be a part of a team that combines deep technical expertise with strong market insight, working closely with R&D, Global Headquarters, and regional stakeholders to shape product direction and solutions architecture.

This People Leadership Role is based out of our regional headquarters in Chelmsford, MA and requires you to be Onsite.

What You'll Do Here…

  • Lead team of Solutions Engineers and guide strategy for hardware & solutions portfolio, competitive positioning, and market research

  • Conduct leadership responsibilities including strategic objective setting, mentoring and performance management

  • Assist with training and onboarding of new team members on hardware technologies and solutions

  • Analyze hardware portfolio sales performance, feature releases, and competitive landscape to inform regional strategy

  • Collect and synthesize regional market feedback, trends, use cases, and customer needs to inform global product roadmap priorities

  • Act as strategic liaison between regional teams and PdM/R&D teams, ensuring two-way feedback loop

  • Coordinate with Product Management and R&D around development, launch, and lifecycle initiatives

  • Serve as media spokesperson and subject matter expert for hardware & solutions announcements and events

  • Facilitate knowledge transfer across Americas regarding new products, technologies, and market trends

  • Support pre-sales, professional services, and pilot/proof of concept activities across assigned portfolio

  • Work collaboratively with other BDSS teams to identify synergies and shared opportunities

What We Are Looking For …

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, operations management, or related field

  • 5+ years' industry experience in customer-facing technical roles (engineering, solutions architecture, project management, integration)

  • 3+ years' experience in hardware product management, solutions engineering, or technical leadership within Physical Security or IT infrastructure

  • 2+ years' direct people leadership or team management experience - required

  • Deep familiarity with IP networking infrastructure, video transport protocols, and surveillance/security systems

Pay range:

The approximate pay range for this location and position is $140-155K OTE. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as physical work location within the state.
