Job Description

We are looking for a competent sound technician to join our studio team. Sound technician responsibilities include setting up and breaking down audio equipment, running cables, and testing microphones and other equipment.A top-notch audio technician will have experience in analog and digital mixing consoles as well as repair and maintenance of sound equipment. You should know how to edit, create, and record sound.Sound Tech ResponsibilitiesPreparing and operating sound equipment.Setting up and breaking down audio equipment.Running audio equipment and checking that everything is properly connected.Testing audio equipment for volume, tone, and clarity.Evaluating audio equipment for repair and maintenance.Operating mixing consoles and adjusting sounds and volumes when necessary.Ensuring customers are happy with the sound quality and the set up of the audio equipment.Recommending equipment and software upgrades when necessary.Collaborating with other Audio Technicians.Sound Tech RequirementsAn associate's or bachelor's degree in a field related to sound technologies.A minimum of 1 year of experience in an audio management role.Advanced knowledge of sound and recording equipment.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Good multi-tasking skills.Excellent computer skills.A strong ear for sound variants.A technical aptitude.

Compensation: $20.00 per hour

What happens when two former Army soldiers discover they both love Bavaria? They open a restaurant together.

Bob spent six years living in various towns in southern Germany, most of that time in Bavaria. Brian deployed to Bavaria multiple times on temporary duty. Both were drawn to the region because of its culture, its food, and especially its Bier.

Both wanted to tell the story of Bavaria in the form of a Bierhall in Bob's hometown of Nashville. Together with eight friends who also loved their Bavarian experiences, they opened the Bavarian Bierhaus in 2017 as an authentic German experience. With more than 500 seats inside, and another 120 in the Biergarten outside, the restaurant mimics the look of a large Munich Bierhall.

The Bavarian Bierhaus is more than a restaurant; it is an experience. We took great care in selecting our decor and uniforms. And we take great care in making sure that our food, music, and Bier is as authentic as possible.
