Success in today's market requires strong positioning, compelling storytelling, and disciplined proposal leadership. As a Regional Marketing leader at HDR, you will oversee proposal teams, guide complex pursuits, and strengthen our regional competitiveness while mentoring the next generation of marketing professionals.

Lead & Develop High-Performing Teams

  • Build, mentor, and lead a team of marketing professionals in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
  • Align marketing resources with regional priorities and workload demands
  • Partner with leadership to attract and retain top talent across technical, business development, and marketing roles

Drive Strategy & Growth

  • Stay ahead of market trends, competitive dynamics, and client drivers
  • Contribute to and help execute annual and long-range strategic growth plans
  • Advance priority growth initiatives and strategic investments

Strengthen Client Relationships & Market Position

  • Develop and implement client account strategies to expand market share and deepen relationships
  • Cultivate strong teaming partnerships to enhance competitiveness
  • Position HDR early with priority clients and opportunities

Lead Winning Pursuits

  • Guide teams through disciplined go/no-go decisions and capture planning
  • Serve as Proposal Manager for key pursuits, leading strategy, messaging, and execution
  • Coach teams to deliver compelling proposals and confident interview presentations
  • Lead post-pursuit debriefs to strengthen future competitiveness

Elevate Brand & Visibility

  • Direct integrated marketing campaigns that elevate HDR's thought leadership
  • Expand visibility through industry associations, conferences, and speaking engagements
  • Represent HDR in professional settings to strengthen market presence

Oversee Operations & Performance

  • Manage regional marketing budgets and performance metrics
  • Leverage CRM and reporting systems to inform strategy and decision-making
  • Plan and execute large internal meetings and strategic events

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience
  • Demonstrated "self-starter" with a history of completing projects with limited oversight
  • Deep knowledge of the A/E/C industry's standard approach to procurement of professional services
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire others
  • Experience in sales and developing effective win strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign
  • Ability and desire to travel and engage with others in-person
  • Demonstrated experience in winning high-value contracts in the A/E/C industry
  • Demonstrated experience in writing compelling content based on information from technical staff
