Spare Parts Coordinator

Milwaukee Tool product service is a key competitive advantage with high customer expectations. The Service Parts Coordinator supports all service and parts activities across Powered Industrial Trucks, Conveyance & Sortation Systems, and Robotics & Integrated Systems. This role coordinates the development, readiness, accuracy, and lifecycle management of service parts while maintaining oversight of parts inventory performance, with the ultimate goal of ensuring Milwaukee Tool has the right parts, in the right place, at the right time, at the right cost.

Duties and Responsibilities

Facilities & Property Management Services

  • Coordinate property management service needs across multiple sites, ensuring timely response, vendor alignment, and proper documentation.

  • Oversee landscaping and fencing services, including routine grounds maintenance, projects, and vendor repair scheduling.

  • Support dock and door maintenance, including repairs, inspections, and coordination with service technicians and vendors.

  • Manage building maintenance services, including:

  • Fire Protection/Alarm Systems

  • HVAC Monitoring and Maintenance

  • Plumbing/Pneumatic/Hydraulic Systems

  • Electrical Inspections, Repairs, and Projects

  • Lighting Maintenance and Projects

  • Dock, Dock Plates, Dock Doors, and Man Doors

  • Flooring Maintenance, Repairs, and Projects

  • Racking Installation, Maintenance Repair, Yearly Inspections, and Building Compliance

  • Coordinate with janitorial services, ensuring service-level adherence, supply needs, and escalation of issues.

  • Support building compliance requirements, including documentation, inspection scheduling, contractor coordination, and audit readiness (Building Code, Fire & Life, Workplace Safety, Environmental, Health and Safety, Accessibility, Emergency Preparedness, Contractor Compliance, Risk Assessment, and OSHA compliance.

  • Assist with utilities coordination, including service requests, outages, contractor communication, and project support.

  • Partner with internal teams on facility-related projects, including scopes of work, timelines, and vendor management.

  • Coordinate facilities-related repairs with Maintenance Supervisors and Leads, ensuring alignment with operational priorities and maintenance schedules.

  • Support additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Technical & Engineering Coordination

  • Participate in project reviews to communicate service part readiness, risks, facilities impact and assigned deliverables.

Quality & Continuous Improvement

  • Support Maintenance initiatives including product availability, issue and downtime mitigation, and recovery planning.

  • Partner with Procurement and Maintenance for inventory analysis, serviceability improvements, and design‑for‑service assessments.

Inventory & Lifecycle Management

  • Participate in Excess & Obsolete (E&O) reviews for all equipment categories.

  • Own strategies and reporting for service parts E&O management, including duration-of-support planning, last‑time‑buy decisions, inventory balancing, tool replacement strategies, and reserve/disposition planning.

  • Track and report on overall service parts performance-including inventory positions, usage volumes, financial metrics, and KPI results.

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external partners regarding service part availability, pricing, BOM structure, lifecycle status, and service scheduling, and project planning.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Perform detailed analyses and develop reports to support forecasting, inventory health, cost management, product launches, facilities services, and other initiatives.

  • Support additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements (Preferred)

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Facilities Management, or related field.

  • 1-3 years of experience in product service, maintenance, supply chain, facilities coordination, continuous improvement, or related disciplines.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple equipment categories, facility services, and competing priorities.

  • Technical aptitude: familiarity with industrial equipment, facility systems and processes is preferred.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective cross‑functional collaboration.

  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.

  • Proficiency with MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Experience with CMMS & ERP systems (Oracle preferred).

  • Ability to perform efficiently in a fast‑paced operational environment.

Travel Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 10-15% using the quickest and most cost‑effective transportation method.
