• EducationRequirements: Valid Special Education teaching credential/license in California (K-8 elementary and/or K-12 Special Education licensure)
• CertificationsRequirements: Appropriate California Special Education certification/licensure
• ExperienceRequirements: Minimum 1 year of special education experience; demonstrated experience providing individualized instruction, assessments, documentation, and behavior-focused support; experience aligned to elementary self-contained/Specialized Day Classrooms
• OtherRequirements: Ability to teach in a school setting for 40 hours/week (Days); experience working in Specialized Day Classrooms (Self-Contained) with approximately ~10 students; collaborative communication with staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams; experience coordinating with 2–3 paraprofessionals in the room; strong progress monitoring and documentation skills; behavior intervention planning and follow-through; must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a W2 basis (sponsorship cannot be supported)

JobResponsibilities:

• Deliver special education instruction in an elementary Specialized Day Classrooms (Self-Contained) setting for approximately ~10 students.
• Provide individualized instruction aligned to student needs, including assessments, lesson planning, and ongoing documentation.
• Implement and monitor behavior-focused supports, including behavior intervention planning and progress monitoring.
• Collaborate with 2–3 paraprofessionals in the classroom to support student learning and daily programming.
• Partner with families and multidisciplinary teams through clear communication and coordinated student support.
