Special Education Teachers (2025-2026 School Year) – Columbus, OH (43231) – Up to $50/hr

Shape young minds in Ohio’s capital city! We’re seeking two passionate Special Education Teachers for a full-time position at a 3rd-5th grade campus in Columbus (43231) for the 2025-2026 academic year. Job Details:

  • Positions Available: 2 Special Education Teachers (Elementary Level)

  • Schedule: 37.5 hours/week (Monday-Friday, school hours)

  • Duration: August 2025 - May 2026

  • Pay Rate: Up to $50/hr (based on experience)

  • Location: Columbus, OH 43231 (on-site)

Job Description:

  • Provide individualized instruction to 3rd-5th grade students with diverse learning needs

  • Develop and implement IEPs with measurable goals

  • Adapt curriculum using evidence-based strategies

  • Collaborate with general education teachers on inclusion support

  • Utilize assistive technologies and multi-sensory approaches

  • Conduct progress monitoring and data collection

  • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations

  • Foster positive behavior supports and social-emotional growth

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Special Education

  • Ohio Intervention Specialist License (Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Intensive)

  • Experience with elementary-aged students preferred

  • Knowledge of Ohio Learning Standards and IEP process

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills* #CES
