Job Description
We have a private school in Woodhaven, Queens that needs one or more paid interns or teachers to provide academic support for K-8 grade students. The students in one school require a total of approximately 65 sessions per 5-day week. Lessons take place in one location. Qualifications: Candidates must hold a certificate from the Department of Education as an intern or as a teacher of students with disabilities, literacy or another relevant certificate. NY City's Department of Education, DOE, will clear all candidates prior to employment. Responsibilities: Monthly invoices. Student progress reports per DOE requirements. Instructing students individually and in groups of up to five.
