Special Education Paraprofessional or RBT/ABA 

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Paraprofessional or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)/Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapist to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting children with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, by implementing individualized behavioral therapy plans and assisting in educational activities. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in fostering positive behavioral outcomes, promoting skill development, and supporting students within educational or home-based settings. Duties

  • Assist students with activities of daily living (ADLs), including toileting, feeding, and personal hygiene, ensuring comfort and independence.
  • Collect and record behavioral data accurately to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments.
  • Implement individualized behavior management strategies and ABA therapy protocols under supervision.
  • Support classroom or home-based teaching activities aligned with each student’s educational plan.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and family members to develop and follow care plans tailored to each child's needs.
  • Maintain detailed medical documentation, including progress notes and behavioral records, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
  • Engage in direct behavioral therapy sessions focused on skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure consistency and clarity in intervention strategies.
  • Uphold professional standards by following the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts.

Requirements

  • Prior experience working with children in educational or behavioral health settings; experience with individuals with autism or neurodevelopmental disorders is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and implementing ABA therapy protocols.
  • Ability to assist with ADLs and support behavioral health interventions effectively.
  • Strong data collection skills for tracking behavioral progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and home-based behavioral intervention experience is advantageous.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations related to client confidentiality and medical documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
  • Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities.

Schedule & Compensation

  • Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:15 AM to 2:55 PM.
  • Contract/Start: Full-time beginning August 17, 2026.
  • Salary & Benefits: Competitive salary scale based on education and years of experience $26 -$36 Per Hour, plus full health, dental, and vision benefit packages.W2 and 1099 Options
