Special Education Paraprofessional – 2025–2026 School Year
North Spokane, WA
Hourly Pay: $24-27; Up to $810 per weekWeekly Pay: Weekly Direct Deposit
AB Staffing Solutions is hiring Special Education Paraprofessionals for the 2025–2026 school year in North Spokane, WA. These school-based positions support teachers and students by providing instructional, behavioral, and social-emotional assistance throughout the school day.
Position Details:
  • School-year contract (2025–2026).
  • 30 hours per week.
  • Schedule follows school calendar.
  • Classroom and student assignment varies.
  • On-site support with a dedicated recruiter.
What You’ll Do:
  • Support students with special needs under the direction of certified staff.
  • Assist with classroom instruction in small-group or individual settings.
  • Help monitor student behavior and encourage positive engagement.
  • Support daily routines and transitions throughout the school day.
  • Assist teachers with classroom preparation and documentation.
  • Follow instructional plans, behavior strategies, and safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to meet student needs.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to meet Washington State paraeducator qualification requirements.
  • Previous experience working with children or in a school setting preferred.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow written plans and maintain confidentiality.
  • Willingness to complete required training and clearances.
  • May include standing, walking, lifting, or assisting students as needed.
  • Work is performed in a school environment.
