Job Description

Special Education Teacher- Cheraw, SC 2026-2027 School Year | Full-Time | Pay Range: $45 - $49/hour Position Details:• Location: Cheraw, SC – Schools in the area• Duration: August 2026 – June 2027• Hours: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 37.5–40 hours/week• Caseload: K–12 Opportunities Available – Resource or Self-Contained• Required: Active SC Special Education Teaching Certification

Responsibilities:• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to support K–12 learners• Implement behavior management strategies and positive supports• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation for compliance• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
