Job Requirements

• Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a related field; must be eligible for NH state licensure.*
• Certifications Requirements: Valid Special Education (SPED) certification/license for the state of New Hampshire.*
• Experience Requirements: At least 1 year of experience working with special education students, preferably in a middle school setting with cognitive or developmental disabilities.*
• Other Requirements: Ability to work onsite full-time; strong interpersonal skills; background check clearance; and ability to handle caseload of up to 8 students with diverse needs.

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) suited to students with cognitive impairments, developmental disabilities, and intellectual disabilities.*
• Manage a caseload of up to 8 students, providing tailored instructional support.*
• Collaborate with school staff and families to ensure student success.*
• Adapt teaching strategies and materials to meet individual student needs.*
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
