Job Position: Special Education Teacher Elementary Resource Room (FMLA Coverage) Location: West Chicago, IL 60185 Pay Rate: Starting at $50/hour Shift: Monday Friday, 8: 30 AM 3: 30 PM Description: Birch Agency is seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher to provide FMLA coverage in an elementary resource room setting near West Chicago, Illinois. This is an in-person, contracted position supporting elementary students through mid-May 2026. Position Details: Elementary resource room setting Approximately 10 students on the caseload Provide direct instruction and academic support Implement and manage IEPs Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers Maintain compliance with state and district special education requirements Qualifications: Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement required Prior experience in an elementary resource or special education setting preferred Strong organizational and classroom management skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with a school-based team Why Birch Agency?
