Job Description

Position: Special Education TeacherLocation: Dearborn, MI 48124Pay Rate: Starting at $50/hour Schedule: 8am-3pm (would be open to part time candidates as well)Position Overview:Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Dearborn, MI. This full-time role supports a caseload of approximately 8 students grades K-5th. Responsibilities:

Provide individualized instruction and support to students with special needs.
Develop and implement IEPs in compliance with state and federal requirements.
Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and related service providers.
Monitor and document student progress toward academic and behavioral goals.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications:

Valid Michigan teaching license with Special Education endorsement.
Experience working with students with emotional impairments or related exceptionalities.
Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills
