Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and student-centered Special Education Teacher to support students in a school-based setting in Tempe, AZ. This role focuses on providing individualized instruction and meaningful support to help students with diverse learning needs succeed academically and socially.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and manage IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Provide differentiated instruction aligned with student needs and goals
Monitor and document student progress in accordance with state and district requirements
Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and compliance activities
Support inclusive practices and positive classroom environments
Qualifications:
Valid Arizona Special Education teaching certification or eligibility
Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field
School-based experience preferred (new graduates encouraged to apply)
Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
Position Details:
School-based position in Tempe-area schools
Full-time opportunity (part-time may be considered)
