About the Role
Clarvida is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support youth referred by the public school system in our alternative school placement. Students are assigned for 45–180 days and receive a blended, skill-based learning experience designed to help them succeed academically, behaviorally, and emotionally.
Our individualized 1:1 instruction model provides personalized support tailored to each student's needs through hands-on learning, restorative circles, and an online curriculum, we create an environment where students feel supported and understood. Teachers work within a close-knit team that helps students build long-term success, and many former students return years later to share their progress and accomplishments.
Responsibilities

Required Qualifications
● Bachelor’s Degree and Delaware Certification in Special Education● OR Bachelor’s Degree with Special Education Certification from another state (Clarvida will assist with Delaware reciprocity)● Able to pass background and criminal record checks● Meets mandated health requirements (e.g., negative tuberculosis test)● Compliance with drug-free workplace rules and board policies
