Special Education Teacher – Cherry Hill, NJ Hourly Compensation: $50/hr | Full-Time Connected Health Care is actively seeking a Special Education Teacher to join a dedicated school district in Cherry Hill, NJ. This position offers an opportunity to make a lasting impact by supporting students with diverse learning needs in a structured and inclusive educational setting. Job Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique needs. Provide direct instruction and intervention in a resource or self-contained classroom. Adapt lesson plans and curriculum to align with students’ IEP goals. Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), differentiated instruction, and assistive technology to enhance learning. Implement behavior management strategies to create a structured and supportive classroom environment. Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, speech therapists, and occupational therapists to develop student success plans. Conduct ongoing assessments to track progress and make necessary adjustments to instruction. Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development workshops. Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations. Qualifications & Requirements: New Jersey Special Education certification required. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education, Education, or related field. Experience working in inclusive, self-contained, or resource room settings preferred. Strong understanding of IEP development, classroom modifications, and student-centered instruction. Knowledge of ABA strategies, behavior intervention plans, and progress monitoring tools. Ability to effectively collaborate with educators, specialists, and families to support student success.
