• EducationRequirements: Bachelor’s degree in Special Education (K-12) and General Education (K-8) (or equivalent)
• CertificationsRequirements: Current and relevant Special Education teaching certification/license including Special Education EC-12 (or equivalent)
• ExperienceRequirements: Minimum 1 year of experience in Special Education teaching; strong background working with IEPs, assessments, and diverse student populations; experience delivering resource and social skills programming
• OtherRequirements: Legacy requirements; strong professionalism, organization, and composure in challenging situations; demonstrate ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with students, families, and school teams; familiarity with IEP-related documentation and implementing individualized instruction; must be able to work legally in the United States on a W2 basis; successful background check clearance required

JobResponsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction in alignment with students’ IEPs, adapting instruction to meet individual needs and learning goals.
• Develop, implement, and maintain IEP-related documentation, including assessments, progress monitoring, and instructional planning.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and support teams to ensure consistent communication and effective service delivery.
• Deliver instruction and supports within resource and social skills program settings, using evidence-based strategies to promote student growth.
• Maintain classroom professionalism through organized, calm, and effective management of student needs in challenging situations.
