Special Education Teacher (LBS1) | 2026-2027 School Year
Navra is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher in Oak Park, IL to join a supportive elementary school for a Fall contract assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced educators and new graduates who are passionate about helping students achieve their full potential in an instructional classroom setting.
Position Details
Position: Special Education Teacher
Contract Dates: August 24, 2026 – November 20, 2026
Schedule: 35 hours per week
Grade Levels: 4th & 5th Grade
Caseload: Approximately 7–8 students
Setting: Instructional classroom
Work Location: On-site
Qualifications
Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
LBS1 (Learning Behavior Specialist I) endorsement required
