Job Description

Special Education Teacher Location: Tempe, AZ Pay Rate: $45-52/ hour At Phaxis Education, we believe your career is more than a job—it’s a calling. As a K-12 school-based Special Education Teacher in Tempe, AZ your days will include
  • Develop and deliver individualized instruction based on IEP goals.
  • Adapt curriculum materials and teaching strategies to meet student needs.
  • Manage classroom behavior using positive behavioral supports and interventions.
  • Collaborate with related service providers, general education teachers, and families.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and parent conferences.
  • Maintain compliance with IDEA, state, and district regulations regarding special education.
Job Details
  • Position: Contract (option to renew) in a school setting
  • Hours: Full-time (Monday - Friday)
  • Caseload: Elementary, Middle, and High School options
Successful Candidates Possess
  • A Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education (required)
  • An active or pending state licensure, or the ability to obtain (required)
  • Experience in a pediatric or school setting (preferred)
  • The ability to work in the U.S. without a sponsor
