- Provide specialized instruction to students with IEPs in inclusion, resource, or substantially separate settings
- Design and deliver individualized lesson plans aligned to IEP goals
- Adapt curriculum and instruction to meet diverse academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Conduct ongoing assessments and maintain accurate progress data
- Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to support inclusive practices
- Lead or contribute to IEP meetings, re-evaluations, and parent-teacher conferences
- Implement behavior support strategies and classroom accommodations
- Create a structured, supportive learning environment that promotes student independence and engagement

- Valid San Diego License in Special Education
- Bachelors degree in Education or related field (Masters preferred)
- Knowledge of IEP development, MCAS accommodations, and SPED compliance
- Experience working with neurodiverse learners in school settings
- Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to pass background checks and provide professional references
