Job Requirements
Education Requirements: NJ K-8 population DOE Instructional Certification - Students with Disabilities
Certifications Requirements: NJ DOE Instructional Certification in Special Education, Students with Disabilities
Experience Requirements: Minimum 1 year of experience working with elementary or middle school populations, specifically students with disabilities. Recent experience with K-8 students required.
Other Requirements: Must have recent experience with elementary or middle school populations; all interviews must include a demo lesson. Candidates must have a valid NJ DOE Instructional Certification for Students with Disabilities. Ability to work dayshift hours (8 AM - 2 PM preferred). Background check required. Strong communication, patience, and adaptability essential.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities in a K-8 school setting.*
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).*
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse learning needs.*
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff.*
- Monitor and record student progress, adjusting instruction accordingly.
