Job Requirements

• Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; special education teacher certification preferred but not necessary for this short-term leave coverage.
• Certifications Requirements: Severe disability certification preferred but not required.
• Experience Requirements: Minimum 1 year experience working with students in a school setting, preferably in special education.
• Other Requirements: Experience working with students with severe disabilities is advantageous; must be comfortable working in an ADL classroom setting; ability to pass background check.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to students in an ADL classroom setting.
• Support students with severe disabilities to develop daily living skills.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and family members to create individualized education plans.
