Exciting Opportunity for a Full-Time Special Education Teacher!
Compensation: 70 to $75 per hour
Join the vibrant team at Boston Speech Therapy, where we understand and value the vital work of our educators! We are currently seeking a Full-Time Special Education Teacher to support elementary students with diverse learning needs.
*Key Responsibilities*
- Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student
- Provide specialized instruction to help students achieve their academic and behavioral goals
- Utilize effective teaching strategies and evidence-based interventions
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other specialists to create a supportive learning environment
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed to promote success
Requirements
*Qualifications*
- Masters's degree in Special Education
- Valid state certification in Special Education
- Experience working with elementary students with developmental disabilities
- Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to create and implement effective teaching materials and interventions
- Experience in administering and interpreting assessments
