Job Description

Special Education Teacher (25-26 School Year and Beyond) Location: Opportunities Across Multiple Districts Pay: $50- $55 /hour (depending on assignment & experience) More Flexibility. More Impact. Ro Health is hiring passionate, licensed Special Education Teachers to join our Los Angeles Behavioral Team for the 2025–2026 school year and beyond. This is a contracted teaching position that offers the opportunity to focus on what matters most—supporting diverse learners—while enjoying the flexibility and job variety that comes from working with an experienced staffing partner. What You’ll Do: Provide specialized instruction to students with IEPs in inclusion, resource, or substantially separate settings Design and deliver individualized lesson plans aligned to IEP goals Adapt curriculum and instruction to meet diverse academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs Conduct ongoing assessments and maintain accurate progress data Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to support inclusive practices Lead or contribute to IEP meetings, re-evaluations, and parent-teacher conferences Implement behavior support strategies and classroom accommodations Create a structured, supportive learning environment that promotes student independence and engagement Why SPED Teachers Choose Ro Health: Access to multiple district placements Transparent and competitive weekly pay Hands-on support with credentialing, onboarding, and case transitions A dedicated team that advocates for your success—not just your placement Flexibility to explore new settings What You’ll Need: Valid Massachusetts License in Special Education Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred) Knowledge of IEP development, MCAS accommodations, and SPED compliance Experience working with neurodiverse learners in school settings Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills Ability to pass background checks and provide professional references Teach Where You’re Needed Most—On Your Own Terms.
